I am an Industrial Designer based in the Bay Area and recent San Jose State University grad. During this past summer, I interned at Telos Health, a medical robotics company working towards making stroke treatment more accessible, immediate, and effective.
Philosophy
A career in Industrial Design is a career in learning. I invite new and innovative technology into my design process rather than shy away from it. I value self-sufficiency because one of the biggest advantages to designing products is being able to make it yourself. I prioritize my concepts around the human to bring the best out of others with my designs.
Design isn’t about sitting behind a desk and viewing a screen or putting a pen on a tablet and expecting something to happen. We have to get our hands dirty to make things we can feel and see in reality because that is how we understand our designs beyond a sketch. To succeed as a designer you have to be a maker at heart.
