Diabetes Treatment - Why Change it?Through interviews and observations with diabetes patients, my goal was to understand why some choose to stick with the traditional treatment methods while others choose more modern treatment options.

These 3 prioritized directions are an attempt to remove the medical perception and diabetic stigma while taking advantage of modern treatment.
What’s Comfortable?Through initial prototypes, I requested participants with diabetes type 1 & 2 to use each concept without any instruction to establish a comfortable form while performing the task of delivering insulin and refilling the insulin.
Palm vs Pen Form Factor
Through user testing I found the palm sized form factor had the most potential for introducing a new take on diabetes treatment.
